TAWHERO CLUB CLOSING OF SEASON On Saturday afternoon a flag competition was played to mark the closing day of the Tawhero Golf Club’s winter season. Mrs Temperton won the ladies’ competition and J. Saltinstall returned the best score in the men’s section. The winner of the ladies’ eclectic competition conducted during the past season was Miss Michie. The trophy for this competition was donated by Mrs W. G. Haggie. The programme for the summer months will be commenced shortly. Following are the best scores returned on Saturday:— Ladies’ Section
