HURDLE RECORD BROKEN SOUTH AFRICAN’S FEAT DURBAN, Nov. 23. B. T. Lavery, a member of the South African team for the Empire Games at Sydney, broke the South African record for the 120 yards hurdles, registering 14.3 seconds.
