! TOURISTS IMPRESSION. A.A.'s HELP APPRECIATED. j “I have just, returned from a visit Ito the Old Country and wish to say j that I used your kind introduction to . the A.A. and they were most helpful,” stated a letter received from Mr. G. F. McGrath, at Wednesday night’s meeting of the executive of the Automobile Association (Wanganui). *1 motored all over the southern half of England and found the town plans invaluable and the patrols invariably courteous and ready to help. The most, delightful thing about the lovely English spring was the absence of dust on the roadsides that was the usual thing when we left home ovci 30 years ago. During the four months I was in England ther« v ere 70ii deaths and 23,000 persons injured iii accidents but we saw only one accident all the time and that was a I crumpled mudguard!”
