NO INVITATION TO JAPAN DECISION OF COUNCIL [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Oct. 26. The New Zealand Rugby Union has received from the University Rugby Council a letter stating that, owing to the disturbed state of affairs in the Far East, it does not wish to proceed with its application for permission to invite a Japanese team to tour New Zealand.
