DEATH OF G. H. LORIMER Received Oct. 24, 8.10 p.m. PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 23. The death has occurred of George Horace Lorimer, the former editor-in-chief of the Saturday Evening Post. George Horace Lorimer was appointed editor-in-chief of the Saturday Evening Post in 1899. He was vice-president of the Curtis Publishing Company from 1927 to 1932, president from 1932 to 1935 and chairman since 1935. He was probably best known to the world as the author of “Letters of a Self-made Merchant to His Son.” Other of his works include “Old Gorgon Graham,” “The Fa:se Gods,” “Jack Spurlock” and “Frnrfigal.”
