DIESEL EXPRESSES
WITHDRAWAL IN GERMANY FOR “WORKING REASONS’’ BERLIN, Oct. 22. The sudden withdrawal of eight Diesel express trains, the success of which has been a feature of the modern German railroads, has occasioned surprise. Only four remain.. The slower steam trains are replacing the others. “Working reasons'' is the only explanation given.
