TECHNICAL RE-UNION
A peep into the assembly hall of the Wanganui Technical College reveals a transformation that manes the hall assume the dimensions of a veritable fairyland and one that would disguise it so that past pupils would never recognise il as the place where they spent many hours. The committee in charge of the decorations has made a complete job and are to be recommended on their line effort. Th;: decorations are, to say the least, elaborate, and reveal a wealth ol forethought and ingenuity. Streamers of past student colours (blue and golu) a ceiling of white and blue, and colours of the various houses in eacn of the corners, combine to give a striking effect. The entire scheme has been arranged to symbolise unity. Side rooms have been cleared and furnished to provide comfortable lounges. A good deal of work has gone into providing special lighting effects, and the entire building will be illuminated both exterior and interior with strings of coloured lights. The floor has been brought to a pitch of perfection and will meet with the approval of the most fastidious. Music will be supplied by the New Gaieties Dance Band, and the supper arrangements will be in the hands of last year's caterers. A special supply of claret cup has been obtained to satisfy the thirst of dancers.
