AIRWAYS TERMINAL
MINISTER’S COMMENT | Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Oct. 21. “ T t x cri important matter and one • Worthy of deep thought and consideration,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. W. E. Parry, in taking up a jocular reference by a member of a northern local body deputation of the controversy in which the Mayors of Auckland and Wellington had been engaged on the question of a terminal port for the transtasman air service and transpacific shipping service. “My way of looking at the matter,” he said, “is that the question is not which is the better place as between Auckland and Wellington or Hokitika; it is rather what is the best place for New Zealand and to determine what is best for New Zealand is a question for expert investigation.”
