Mrs. J. B. Baird, Wanganui, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. J. H. Broad, Marton, is on a visit to Auckland. Sydney visitors to Wanganui this week were Mr. A. Barnett and Miss E. Barnett. • • • • Mr. and Mrs. G. Larsen, and Miss Betty Larsen, are Napier visitors to Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. James Bull, of Hunterville, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. G. Clark, Gonville, is a visitor to Wellington for race week. Miss Hall, Hobart, who has been the guest of Mrs. A. J. Burtt, Durie Hill, has left for Auckland. Mrs. J. Alexander is a Wanganui visitor to Wellington. Mrs. D. L. Blyth, “Harakeke,” and Mrs. Lin. Hammond, journeyed to Wellington on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sutherland, “Carnlea,” Fordell, left by car yesterday to spend a holiday at Napier and Hastings. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Izard and Miss Suzanne Izard, College Street, will leave late this afternoon for Wellington to be present at the Government House ball this evening, and will also attend the races at Trentham. They will stay at the Midland Hotel.
