WANGANUI EAST CLUB RINKS FOR SATURDAY The following rinks from the Wanganui East Club will pay official visits next Saturday:— At Wanganui: Atkinson, Boss,. Purnell, Holloway, At St. John’s: Barrowman, Lints, Clark, Hutchins. At Gonville: Simpson, Connell, Gaunt, Carvell. Labour Day Tournament On Monday (Labour Day) the Wanganui East Club will hold an all-day pairs tournament, starting at 9 a.m. All bowlers and visitors are welcome. VISITING DAY RINKS FOR SATURDAY Saturday will be bowlers’ visiting day, the various clubs sending rinks to each other. Following are the rinks chosen to represent the clubs named:— WANGANUI CLUB At Waverley. Hales, Strachan, Adams, O'Meara. At Wanganui East. Buchan, Brotherton, Stone, Crawford. At St. John’s. Lowe, Armstrong, Quarterman, C. N. Johnson. At CastleclifE West. Halligan, Stockwell, Gordon, Patterson. At Gonville. Boulton, Hanson, Kirk, Goldstone. Labour Day An all-day tournament is to be promoted on the Wanganui green on Labour Day (next Monday) at 9 a.m. ST. JOHN’S CLUB The following members will represent the St. John's Club on Saturday : At Wanganui. G. Harris, W. Pepper, W. D. Harris, H. S. Harris. At Gonville. Ashwell, Williams, Wallace, Michie. At Wanganui East. Hay, Guy, Stringer, Stone. At Victoria Green. Barns, F. Pepper, Puddle, Baxter. At Castlecliff. G. S. Simpson, Mackie, Rhodes, Beswick. At Waverley. Downey, B. Armstrong, Rowling, Wight. Labour Day Tournament An all-day tournament will be held on Monday commencing at 9 a.m. sharp. Visiting bowlers will be welcomed. Please bring lunch.
