HAILE SELASSIE PLAINTIFF SHARES IN FRENCH RAILWAY £300,000 IN DISPUTE (By Telegraph—Press Assocint’on—Copyrix Received June 10, 8.15 p.m. LONDON, June 10. Signor Mussolini is a defendant in an action by Haile Selassie seeking the recovery of £300,000 for shares in the French railway at Djibouti, Addis Ababa, which Selassie received in recognition for permission to pa>s through Abyssinian territory. When Haile Selassie fled from Abyssinia he decided to sell the stock but Italy objected on the ground that it was owned by the Abyssinian Government, to which Selassie was no longer attached. Selassie, however, contends that he still holds a title to the stock as head of a Government recognised by France, which has not recognised the conquest.
