WOMEN’S INSTITUTE It was decided at a committee meeting of the Patea Women's Institute last week, to cancel the May meeting on account of infantile paralysis, as it was thought wise to take all possible precautions. Mrs Gun submitted a report on the first meeting of the Garden Circle, and it was decided to recommend the general meeting to record their appreciation of the work of Mrs Gunn for the circle. Miss Locker reported on the arts and crafts circle, stating that the meetings would be held in the supper
