BURGLARS FAIL

RAILWAY STATIONS VISITED | Per Press Association! AUCKLAND, Nov. 24. Burglars entered the railway station office at Papatoetoe last night, and inserted gelignite in the keyhole of the safe, but the charge was insufficient to blow it open. In any case there was no money in the safe. The railway ticket office and goods sheds at Manurewa were also entered last night. A cabinet was forced but nothing was taken.
