OBITUARY

MR. TANCRED A. COOPER. The death occurred at his residence, 19 Carlton Terrace, Wanganui, on Saturday of Mr. Tancred Ashley Cooper, a highly respected and wellknown resident of the city, at the age of 65 years. The late Mr. Cooper, who was born in Wellington, was educated at the Wanganui Collegiate School. For many years he was employed by a Waikato stock firm as auctioneer. He was secretary of the Wanganui and District Development League for some years and was pro tern secretary of the Wanganui Tourist and Development League until ill health compelled him to resign. MR. I’. R. HARMAN. , Advice was received in Wanganui j last night, that, the death had occurred suddenly at Opawa, Christchurch, of Mr. P. R. Harman, general-man-ager for the South Island Motor Union Insurance Company. He was a brother of Mr. H. S.
