MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. The series of matches for Mr. Baker's trophy was concluded on the club range last Monday night. President C. Baldwin, by consistently good shooting in all four visits to the mound during the evening, emerged as the winner. Incidentally, all the matches of the evening saw him carry off the honours as he was also successful in winning the top place on the ladder, the Hanan Cup points, and in retaining his team “button.” Competition for the trophy was very keen, and the fact that two competitors tied for first place, while live were only one point behind, shows how interest was maintained until the last shot was tired.
