Mrs O. H. Beetham, Mastertori, wa a visitor to Wanganui this week. Mrs A. K. Fyson, Hawera, who ha been visiting Wanganui, has re turned. Mrs Packman, Gonville, has beei visiting Wellington. Mrs Hamilton, of Wanganui, wh< has been visiting her sister, Mrs I Wilkin, at Auckland, has gone to Ro torua. Mrs W. L. Young, Hatrick Terrace leaves during the week-end on a visi to Mrs A. Wilson, Foxton. Mr and Mrs -A. E. Halligan, wll leave on Monday to spend a few day in Wellington. Mr and Mrs N. W. Hope were Bien helm visitors to Wanganui this week Mrs F. H. Alien, Wanganui River, i the guest of Mrs C. Neilson, Wanga nui East. Mr and Mrs Northcote Rowe, o [Kakatahi, have returned from a holi • day in Christchurch, and are spending !the week-end in Wanganui before re turning to their home. ENGAGEMENT The engagement is announced o Daphne Nola Edna, youngest daugh ter of Mrs W. Hall and the late M: W. Hall, of Palmerston North, to Err Arnold, second youngest son of M and Mrs J. Hodson, of Wanganui.
