FRENCH BANK RATE
INCREASE DECIDED ON. PARIS, May 6. The French Bank rate has been raised to 6 per cent. The other rates have also been raised. BANK OF PORTUGAL REDUCTION IN RATE LISBON, M'liv 11. The, Bank of Portugal has mlueeJ the bank rate from ,"_to 41 per cent.
