The question of introducing legist** t.ion io make the dehorning of cattle and budding of calves compulsory was the subject of representations made last week to the Minister nf Agriculture by Mr. William Harris, former president of the Canterbury Master Butchers' Association. He got a sym pathetic hearing and a promise nf favourable consideration.
