MINIATURE RIFLES. Atlhough no possibles were obtained at this week’s shoot of the Sandon Miniature Rifle Club, several members just missed. A lady member, A.lk - Leila Lumsden, daughter of the club’s veteran, put on a very nice 67 and GO. Keith Lumsden secured the highest score with two 69’s. Bowater presided < a er the annual meeting of the Sandon Old Boys’ Association which was held in the Town Hall last night. An excellent attendance of members were present. Before commencing the business of the evening tin; president made refer cnee to the deaths of several old pupils and residents of the district. Alembeis stood in silence as a mark of respect. The report and balanc-e-shect we;C read and adopted. Several members congratulated the president on his comprehensive report.
