WEEKLY SHOOT At the weekly shoot held on Monday night there was a poor attendance of members. The new metric targets were used for the first time, there being nc possibles registered. The first of the inter-chib matches commences on May 15, when Feilding j shoots against Ohakea at Ohakea. |Alyer and Earl Bowater; secretary and treasurer, Mr. K. M. Pearce; assistant secretary, Air. A. G. Nesbit; general committee, Messrs. 0. Eglintcn, E. J. Bowater and D. Hammond. The annual reunion is tv be held on Friday. July 3, and invitations arc to b-e sent to old pupils as in the past. The secretary was instructed to write to the teachers and pupils of the Sanswi School congratulating them on their success at tho Sanson sports and also ou winning file association’s rose bowl. A lengthy discussion took place iegarding the proposed memorial to the obi settlers to be erected on Ml. Stewart. Members were enthusiastic regarding the scheme and numerous suggestions were put forward in support of the proposal. Air, W. J. Croucher outlined what, had taken place up to this date but members were of the opinion that the association could not do anything until the committee appointed 1 made a move in the matter.
