OHINEMURI MEETING

THE CONCLUDING DAY PROSPECTS DISCUSSED (Special to “Chronicle.”) AUCKLAND, March 16. Splendid fields are engaged ou the concluding day of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club’s annual meeting to-mor-row, and although rain fell yesterday and the weather appears unsettled to day the going should not be bad. Form on Saturday may be a good guide, and among the first-day winners likely to go well again are Golden Blonde, Con Fuoco, and Forest Glow, ’ the last-named winning very well indeed. Horses that may improve on fairr aces on Saturday are Palustre, Clan Ronald, Light Comedy, Kilberis, aml Torch; and among the several that did not race the first day Master Musk, Sinking Fund, Professional, and Boughal are likely to show up. Form horses engaged to-morrow are the following:— Waitekauri Handicap.—Palustre, Golden Blonde, and Golden Sheila. Second Hurdles.— Master Musk, Clan Ronald, and Modern Maid. Hikutaia Hack Cup.— Light Comedy, Con Fuoco, and Day Wind. Shaw Handicap.—Sinking Fund, Kilberis and Prince Colossus. Wai hi Hack Handicap.—Professional, Gay Sister and Cyllaros. St. Patrick's Handicap.—Boughal, Luc.idus and Whirling. Hauraki Plains Steeplechase.—Forest Glow, London and Golden England Waikino Hack Handicap. —Torch, Sweet Rose, and Calshoi.
