LARWOOD DECLINES OFFER EXPECTING A '‘BENEFIT.” Received Nov. 29, 11.30 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 28. The fast bowler Larwood refused a four-figure offer to play as chief striker for West Ham in league baseball, which enthusiasts are attempting to popularise in Britain. He says he is still contracted to- Notts and is expecting a handsome benefit in 1936.
