MURDER CHARGE

DR. BUXTON ON TRIAL MOFFAT RAVINE CRIME ■ LONDON, Nov. 26. -Mi. G. R. Paling, Director of Public Prosecutions, in 2£ hours’ speech outlined the case against Dr. Buck Buxton, who is alleged to have murdered his wife and a nursemaid named Rofferson, one night. The wife was strangled and Rogerson struck on the head, but not sufficiently severely to cause death, the reason for which is not apparent. Thereafter, he dismembered their bodies, removing various marks of identification, including the eyes, teeth, nose, lips and ears. He also skinned their faces. Mr. Paling, in giving details of the methods the police employed to secure identification, said the prosecution would produce Ruxton's diary showing he and his wire often quarrelled. Ruxton was jealous of his wife’s association with a man named Edmondson. it was cabled on the 16th. inst., that Dr. Ruxton had been charged with the murder of his wife.
