Cobbe, stated yesterday that it was probable that- in addition to rhe preliminary inquiry alieady h\ld, there would be a formal inquiry under the Shipping and Seamen Act before a magistrate and two assessors into the circumstances of the collision between the motor-ship Breeze and the fishing launch Bessie, nine mile# south of Timaru early on the morning of August 16. °
