IDLE SINCE OCTOBER. * FUTURE CAREER UNCERTAIN. LONDON. Jan. 28. What is to happen to the Atlantic •incr Mauretania, which has been lying die at Southampton since October, is a problem. Tho Cunard-White Star Line is loth to part with the ship, but it is a costly luxury. It has been suggested that the liner might end her career as a show ship for British goods. The cost, however, would be prohibitive. The Cunard-White Star Line pro poses to maintain a weekly express ser vice to New York in the immediate future with the Majestic, Berengaria and Aquitania.
