PROSPECTS AT WAVERTREE. LONDON, Feb. 2. The Daily Telegraph’s special Liverpool correspondent says that as polling day, February 6, approaches, it becomes apparent that the real contest af the Wavertre.e by-election is between the Conservative, Mr. Platt, and the Labourite, Mr. Cleary. Neither Mr. Morris, Liberal, nor Mr. Randolph Churchill, Independent Conservative, is likely to affect the party allegiance except superficially.
