CARNIVAL COMMITTEE Presided over by the Mayor, Mr F. Purnell, the final meeting of the Christmas Carnival Committee was held last evening. The balance-sheet was read and adopted. It showed that the total amount collected was £4O 16s 3d, out of which £l2 12s 5d was passed for ’he payment of expenses.
