The tennis club held a very successful dance on Friday night, visitors beiug present from Palmers-ton North, Feilding, Waituna, Bulls, llawera and Ron goU'it. Competitions during the evening were won as follows: Lucky door ticket, Miss J. Kilpatrick and Mr. F. Murphy. Statute military two-step, Mr. and Miss MiciMinn. Mon-te Carlo, Miss B. Thompson and Mr. F. Meyer. Lucky Gay Gordons, Mrs. and Mr. E. N. Butler. A tea cosy was won by Mr. F. Meyer. A tap dance given by Mr. Mcßrearty (State Theatre, Palmerston North), was very much appreciated. Extras were played by Mrs. E. Davey and Mr. F. Godson. Among those present were: Mesdames L.
