An inter-club match between Utiku and Rangatira (Hunterville) was played at Utiku over the week end and resulted in an easy win for the home team. Four-ball matches over 12 holes were played in the morning. Four-ball games were also played in the afternoon in conjunction with singles. The course w r as in excellent order and the matches were played in fine weather. Air. H. Belk kindly and thoughtfully removed his sheep from the course prior to the commencement of play. Refreshments were provided by the lady members of the club. GENERAL NEWS. At the monthly meeting of the Taihape R.S.A. on Saturday evening it was decided to hold a community singsong within the near future. It was also resolved to purchase 1000 poppies from Auckland for sale on Poppy Day.
