SEQUEL TO RAID
COUNTERFEIT COINS THREE OF FAMILY CHARGED [ Per Press Association, j AUCKLAND, July 3. Gwendoline Bishop (47), Denniston Leonard Bishop (19), and William Leonard Bishop (51), described as a builder, appeared at the Police Court to-day, having bene arrested yesterday following a police raid on a house in Rcniuera. Mrs. Bishop was charged with having in her possession three or more pieces of counterfeit coin with intent to utter them. The father and son were each charged with having in their possession a mould intended to make a resemblance of both sides of a current coin. On the application of the police all three were remanded until July 12. Their counsel asked that the woman be allowed out on bail, as she had two other children, aged 9 and 12. The magistrate ordered that the woman enter the Salvation Army Horne, where her children were cared for last night, and remain there until the case was heard.
