POSITION AT WANGANUI. HIGHEST TOR SEVEN YEARS. No fewer than 140 marriages hare t :ken place in Wanganui during the first six months of this year, which is the largest, number since 1927 for the nine perio l. During the January-June period of .1927, the number of marriages that took place in the city was 142. The following year the total dropped to 138, while in 1929 two loss were celebrated.
