BUILDING PERMITS WANGANUI JFIGUBEB UP Evidence that money is circulating more freely in Wanganui this year is to be had when a comparison of the building Jigures for the Hist six months uf this year arc compared with those of last. The value of the permits granted by the Wanganui City Council so far this year have been more than double the value of those issued during the January-June period of 1933. Last year the value of the alterations, additions and new buildings erected was £5092. 'Phis year the figure has reached £11,119, every month, with the exception of May, seeing a greater activity in the building trade than last year.
