Guests registered at Spriggens’Hotel include: Mr. E. Hansford, Messrs. H. Manderson, Cliff Porter, R. Woodward, C. Reynolds (Wellington); Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Barber, Miss Barber (Carterton); Mr. M. A. Mcßae (New Plymouth). The following are guests at Foster ’s Hotel:—Mr. R. N. Warman ('Chicago); Mr. N- C. Afathews (Christchurch); Air. and Airs. Hargreaves (Kaipara); Air. E. Rabbidge and Air. F. Desmond (Wellington); Afr. and Mrs. W. K. Brinsley (Dunedin); Afr. and Airs. T. H. Lowry (Okawa, Hawke’s Bay). Afr R. G. Sincock, who has been transferred to the Dunedin Government Tourist Bureau, was one of the leading members of the St. John’s Tennis Club. Prior to his departure for the south, he was met by members of the club and presented with a memento which, it was hoped, would serve to remind him of the happy times he had enjoyed with the club. Air. Af. L. Lampe, the president, on behalf of the club, wished Mr. Sincock every success in his new sphere.
