HUNTERVILLE
MAGISTRATE’S COURT. Air. R. Al. Watson presided at Hunterville Court, when the following cases were dealt with:— W. H Moon, licensee of the Argyle Hotel, was fined £8 and costs 10s for selling liquor after hours. H. Hatfull, to whom the liquor was supplied, was fined 30s and costs 10s. Both pleaded not guilty. S. Alorris, for using insulting language, was fined 30s and costs 10s. He pleaded guilty. For driving a motor vehicle without a license, P. G. Grogan was fined 20s and costs 10s; for driving an unlicensed vehicle he was fined 10s and costs 10s; and for using a car not covered under the third party risk, he was convicted and discharged. Ho pleaded guilty to all charges. “PEG O’ MY HEART” AT ST. JAMES’ Marion Davies gives the finest performance of her Career in the delightful “Peg o’ Aly Heart,” which opens to-night at the St. James' Theatre. The vivacious star has clAched the part with sincerity and sympathy. There is not a lagging moment or a flaw in the simple clarity of its sweet romance, and Miss Davies retains all the hoyden charm of the little Irish lass. The leading man is Onslow Stevens. Michael, the dog in the film, captures honours all his own.
