INCREASE IN WAGES CUT MAY BE RESTORED I Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Dec. 20. An agreement was reached in the Conciliation Council in the electrical workers’ dispute. The wages are to be Is lid for journeymen electricians. A new rate was decided upon for radio servicemen, at Is 9d per hour. The improvers’ rate was increased to Is 5d an hour. The award comes into force on January 3, and operates for a year. A clause was inserted providing that if any general order of the Court was made it should apply to the rates of wages in the award. There was some talk during the discussions that it was rumoured there was a chance of the Court restoring the ten per cent, cut.
