ELECTION DAY INCIDENT
AN ASSAULT ALLEGED. [ Per Press Association. 1 CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 20. It is understood as a result of an incident at the Lyttelton by-election on polling day, a well-known Labour supporter intends taking action against a city police officer, alleging assault. Complainant states that force was used to snatch a badge from him outside a booth.
