WEEK END CRICKET In lhe match Railway v. th e rest, played during the week-end, the Railway team suffered defeat by an innings and fifteen runs. the defeat was to a great extent due to the bowling of R. GENERAL Very welcome rain fell throughout the district on Sunday night and relieved much anxiety. It will be necessary for further rain to fall before the danger of a feed shortage will be over. A special Christmas service is to be held in All Saints’ Church, Ohingaiti, on Sunday evening, 24th, at 8 p.m. The, preacher will be Rev. E. A. Burgin.
