BOYS’ AMATEUR STATUS. f Per Prep* Association • WELLINGTON. Dec. 4. In reply to a letter received from a Hastings school the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association stated at a meeting to-night that all boys who compete in events carrying cash prizes infringe their amateur status and require to be reinstated before they can again compete as amateurs.
