GOLF. The all-day tournament hied by the ' Waverley ladies proved a great success, and those attending are looking forward to a similar tournament in the future. A medal round in three divisions was played in the morning, some 20 pairs taking part, and in the afternoon 25 pairs played in the bogey match in three divisions. Messrs. \V. Muir and S. Aiken assisted the ladies in scoring and starting, and the promptness of scores recorded and iu foursomes getting off the tees is due to these gentlemen. Trophies had been donated by the men’s club, and Mi. and Mrs. W. Muir, and Mrs. G. Lupton. At the conclusion of piny, afternoon tea was served in the pavilion, where the captain, Mrs. C. Handley, pre sented the winners with their trophies Miss R. Honeyfield, captain of the Patca Club, congratualted the Waverley ladies on holding such a successful tournament, and hoped that others would be held in tho future.
