FEATURES OF NEW ’PLANE. I British Official Wirelesa. ] Received May 17, 9.5 p.m. RUGBY, May 16. The Prince of Wales to-day flew from Windsor to Cardiff to hold an investiture of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. It is the first occasion on which he has made a long flight in his new Vickers Viastra machine. The monoplane has accommodation for ten persons and has a speed of 160 miles au hour. Sound-proof walls make conversation possible in normal tones and ten parachutes in the cabin roof are released for passengers on touching a button. The Prince flew back to London tonight to keep a second public engagement.
