DISORDERS IN SPAIN ARRESTS PREVENT COUP (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) Received May 10, 9.50 p.m. MADRID, May 10. A general strike beginning at midnight and aiming at the overthrow of the Government, in conjunction with a rising headed by army chiefs, resulted in serious disorders throughout the country. Twenty bomb explosions occurred in the course of the day. Electric cables 1 and water mains were damaged. Many rioters were arrested.
