"ALEXANDER HAMILTON.” Screening at the Duchess Theatre tonight and to-morroW night, “Alexander Hamilton” affords Mr. George Arliss another opportunity to display his flair for character acting. The role of Alexander Hamilton is one for which Mr. Arliss is admirably suited, and the manner in which he runs the gamut of all the emotions explains tho hold ho has on the talking scren as well as on the stage itself. Alexander Hamilton, though overshadowed by his great contemporary, George Washington, played no small part in the development of the United States after the War of Independence, and these episodes of early American history certainly hold a considerable amount of interest for New Zealanders as well as Americans.
