PAPARANGI DOG TRIALS The Paparangi Sheep Dog Trial Club, in conjunction with the Wanganui District Centre championships, arc holding their annual trials this week on May 9, 10 and 11. The grounds, which are being lent by Messrs. Caddy and Williams, are recognised by trial competitors from many parts of the Dominion as being very suitable for testing the working qualtiics of the sheep dog. Mr. R. Farley has again kindly supplied the sheep, which arc good and sound, with plenty of life in them. Mr. ]'. King, of Awakino, is judge and is noted for quick decisions. The club, though small in membership, has a hard-working committee and everything is well in hand for a good start early this morning (Tuesday). Admission to the ground is free. Luncheon, morning and afternoon tea will be provided by the lady friends of the club at moderate rates.
