OBITUARY
MR J. W. HARDLEY N.Z. BOWLING MANAGER Received Oct. 14, 10.15 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 14. The death is announced of Mr J. W. Hardley, manager of the New Zealand bowling team which recently participated in the bowling tournament at Brisbane. Mr Hardley contracted a chill on tho north coast and pneumonia supervened, causing his death. He was a native of Peterborough, England, and was 70 years old. His widow’, son and daughter are accompanying the remains to Auckland aboard the Niagara, leaving to-morrow.
