DISASTROUS EXPLOSION
BRITISH SPINNING MILL TWO KILLED AND 38 INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received Oet. 14, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 13. An explosion shaking houses for miles around wrecked a spinning shed at Gomershal, killed tw< women and injured 38, six seriously. The cause is unknown. The explosion blew down a 50ft. wall, shattering the glass roof to fragments, and cutting many operatives. Th< mill employed 1100 workers who recently resumed on full time.
