PLUNKET BABY CARNIVAL
Another successful afternoon was given for the Wanganui East Plunket babies (Margaret Thompson and Prudence Nicholls), by Airs E. Walpole, at her residence on Thursday afternoon. There were about 50 ladies present ami a pleasant afternoon was spent with musical items and various amusing competitions. A delicious afternoon tea was served. Among those present were Mesdames R. L. Thompson, Williamson, J. Goss, Dann, Redpath, Green, Wickham, A. Walpole, V. Connell, Bruce Jones, N. Annabel, Travers, D. Cook, Stevens, Brine, Mooseman, Benefield, Len Walker, C. Williams, Elliot Wells, Landslow, D. McArtney, Bellringer, E. Ginn, Gillestic. Barford, N. Williamson, Haines, Stewart. Graham, Lower, Misses McLean (2), A. Wood, Holst, Sewell, Clemance, Glover, Treadwell, Horsley.
