NEW SPEED RECORDS
THE BABY CAR CLASS [British Official Wireless.] Received Aug. 11. 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 10. New speed records in the baby cr.r class were set up by Leon Cushman, • '.riving a super-charged Austin sc- en at Brooklyn, and it is announced to-day that the previous record holders, George Eyston, has decided to build a new r M.G. midget to attempt to recapture the records. Four new records were set up, including the flying kilometre, which was accomplished at a speed of 102.28 miles an hour, and the flying mile at 100.67 miles an hour.
