WANGANUI ASSOCIATION
CO-OPERATION WITH MILITARY INVITATION ISSUED A suggestion that there should be some measure of eo-operation between the Military Boxing Association and the Wanganui Boxing Association is finding considerable favour in circles that count. The military tournament held each year generally proves a great success, and with the interest shown in this year’s Wanganui Championships,
nothing but good could come from an amalgamation or closer co-operation ol the two associations. An invitation has been issued by the Wanganui Boxing Association to the chairman and all members of the executive of the Military Boxing Association to attend the Wanganui Boxing Association’s annual meeting, to be held on Monday, August 17. An ample supply of local talent only requires to be uncovered to provide the material for good amateur tournaments. All interested, whether members or otherwise, are invited to this meeting and should make a special effort to attend.
