HOLDING UP PURSE WANGANUI ASSOCIATION ECHO OF PASHA-PINTO BOUT A meeting of the executive commi tee of the Wanganui Wrestling Ass> eiation was held last night to discus developments and action regarding th bout on Saturday night between Kai Pasha and Stanley Pinto. There was a attendance of all but one member. At the conclusion the following a: nouncement was issued for the press:A motion was passed unanimously that the purse for the match between Kara Pasha and Stanley Pinto be not paid over, the motion to be forwarded to the council stating that the committee was of opinion that the contestants did not fulfil their contract.
BOUT AT CHRISTCHURCH
PASHA BEATS DEMETRAL f Per Press Association. 1 CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 11. Kara Pasha beat Harry Demetral in a wrestling match to-night. Demetral secured a submission fall in the second round with a hammer lock. In the fourth round Pasha followed a series of severe headlocks with a Boston crab and secured a submission fall. Demetral was unable to continue, leaving Pasha the winner.
