MR FORBES’ OPINION PORTFOLIO OF TRANSPORT MR. VEITCH TO TAKE OVER WILL SPONSOR THE BILL [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, June 23. The Prime Minister, Hon. G. W. Forbes, indicated to day that ho did not expect the .mssion to last more than two months. “Ihe legislative programme will be unusually small,” said Air Forbes. “It is intended to give the portfolio of rransfort, at present held by tho Hon. \V. B. Taverner, to the Hon. W. A. Veitch, whose responsibilities as Minister of Railways have been much lightened hy the constitution of tho Railway Board. Ho will sponsor the Transport Bill this session.”
